Is this kit compatible for all Roadster Models?

Only Factory Five MKIII, MKIV and 289 models.

What is included in every kit?

Towbar, backer plate, required hardware, ¾” combination wrench and step-by-step written instructions.

How do I install this and how long does it take?

A full set of step-by-step instructions are included in each purchase. Installation takes approximately 3-5 minutes to complete.

What material is the Towbar made of?

6065 billet aluminum. Designed, Engineered and built in the USA!

Do I have to always keep it on my car?

 Your call. It can be on the car in the stowed position or stored in the trunk/glove box and then installed when needed.

What prevents the Towbar from flipping forward when being flatbedded?

The tow bar is secured with a ½” bolt and nut along with resting on the 4” main frame rail and factory frame tow bracket.  When properly installed it uses these two contact areas to hold it in place while being towed. You can see this in the demo video above on our site.

Can it be used for towing or just flat bedding?

This tow bar was designed only for flatbed towing. It's not designed to be used in recovery situations. It is designed for when your Roadster breaks down and needs a lift.

Does anything else like this currently exist for roadsters?

Not that we are aware of. That's why we built it!

How long does shipping take?

Shipping is via ground UPS, so timeframe depends on your location. 3-5 days approximately.

Will the Towbar be visible once installed and put in 'Stowed' position?

Only if you get real low to the ground to look under the car.
